CRT Less-Lethal, Inc has been performing forensic analysis of Electronic Control Devices (ECD such as TASER) and other Less-lethal tools since 2001. All members have certified as Instructors in one or more modalities, including the TASER X26 where all members are Master instructors. CRT Less Lethal, Inc. has trained personnel and presented research and case related findings to law enforcement agencies and scientific groups all over the United States & abroad including the United Kingdom, Canada and the Netherlands. TASER International uses CRT Less lethal research material in their training curriculum.

CRT Less-Lethal, Inc has testified as a forensic expert of TASER devices and has analyzed evidence and documentation related to the deployment of TASERs in many jurisdictions, including cases from Washington State, Colorado, Florida, California, Illinois, Oregon, Texas, Michigan, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Vancouver BC.

Our material has been published in the Association of Firearm and Toolmark Examiner’s (AFTE) peer reviewed scientific journal and other media such as LawOfficer magazine, PoliceOne.com and Officer.com. We have also participated in the testing and evaluation of products made by many less-lethal manufacturers including TASER. Rick Wyant is a distinguished member of AFTE, an associate member of AAFS. Wyant, Burns and Myers are all board members of the National Institute of Justice Technical Working Group for Less-Lethal weapons (NIJ TWG-LL).
